Free Walking Tour

EVERY SATURDAY AT 11 AM

Our Free Walking Tour is designed for anyone interested in the past and present of the city. It offers a good combination of history, storytelling and useful insider tips.

We will talk about the most important events that shaped Brno:

the Swedish siege, the Functionalist architecture and the expulsion of Brno's Germans after the World War II. You will also find out why there is a phallus on Freedom Square or why the bell rings at 11 o'clock in Brno.

Together, we'll walk past most of the Old Town's major landmarks:

the Old Town Hall, Freedom Square, St James' Church, the Vegetable Market and many others.

Meeting point: at the horse statue of Jošt Lucemburský at Moravské náměstí in front of the Church of St. Thomas

End of the tour: Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul
