Mikulov

Mikulov is a picturesque wine town beneath the Pálava Hills, crowned by a hilltop château and framed by Baroque squares, narrow lanes and notable Jewish heritage. Climb Holy Hill for sunset views, wander the château gardens and enjoy tastings in historic cellars—South Moravia at its most scenic.
Private tour / Stadtführung
Meet us at the Pomona fountain on Mikulov’s historic square lined with Renaissance houses right beneath the chateau. It’s the perfect start for a gentle walk through the old town.
Along the way we see the Dietrichstein Tomb from outside, then continue past the chateau and into the Jewish Quarter: the Upper Synagogue, the historic mikveh, and the Jewish Cemetery – one of the oldest and largest in the country.
We finish at Kozí hrádek (Goat Tower) – a late-Gothic artillery tower that long watched the Brno–Vienna route – for a rewarding finale above the rooftops.
