This tip-based walking tour is the perfect introduction to Brno, combining the city's most important sights with fascinating stories and insider tips from a local guide.

 

Along the way, you'll visit Krok Espresso Bar, where you'll enjoy a complimentary coffee tasting and a cookie while learning more about coffee and its preparation, with a view of Brno's historic Old Town Hall. You'll also visit Božský Kopeček, a local artisan ice cream producer, where you'll discover how their handmade ice cream is made and get a glimpse behind the scenes. Depending on the production schedule, you may also have the opportunity to taste their ice cream.

We'll explore the events that shaped Brno, from the Swedish siege and the city's remarkable functionalist architecture to the post-war expulsion of Brno's German population. You'll discover why the astronomical clock rings at 11 o'clock, hear the stories behind some of the city's most famous curiosities, and learn about the legends and stories that make Brno such a fascinating place to explore.
