Zlín
Zlín became internationally renowned in the 20th century thanks to the Baťa company and grew into an exceptional centre of modern architecture.
Today, the city is regarded as one of the most important centres of interwar modernism in the Czech lands and is officially described as Europe’s only consistently planned
functionalist city. This unique combination of entrepreneurial vision, clear urban planning, and distinctive architecture is what makes Zlín so special to this day.
