About the tour
This tour is designed for anyone interested in the past and present of the city. It offers a good combination of history, storytelling and useful insider tips.
We will talk about the most important events that shaped Brno: the Swedish siege or the expulsion of Brno's Germans after the Second World War. You will also find out how the Brno city dialect originated, why there is a phallus on Freedom Square and why the bell rings at 11 o'clock in Brno.
Together we will pass by all the important sights and places in the Old Town: the Old Town Hall, Freedom Square, St James' Church, the Vegetable Market and many others.
